Lenior City Utilities Board Central Administration & Operations Center
MBI was chosen to design a new central administration office building and operations center warehouse in order to consolidate all of the utility operations (electric, gas, water & sewer). The project included extensive site planning, structural, mechanical and electrical engineering and architectural design services. As part of the assessment, considerations were given to not only the office and warehouse functions and requirements, but also for a fuel filling station to be used by the county employees, generator building and a Community Events Center for use by both public and private entities throughout the year. All of these functions were designed and laid out with thoughtful considerations to the residential areas adjacent to the site as well as enhanced security required for the Operations Center.
